Appearance

A fairly tall she-cat with long legs, a thin body and tall ears. Medium fur along her body, save for the inside of her ears, along her back, her chest, elbows, rump, and tail, which have long and silky fur.Her fur is dark brown, with a slightly lighter belly, dark rosettes on her sides, and thin stripes that fade down her legs. Light cream and tan create a half mask on the left side of her face, the same color streaking down the sides of her body and covering her tail tip. The tips of her paws are light cream, fading upwards into the color of her belly.Her fur is soft, well-maintained, and glossy most of the time. Gloamingmoth takes excellent care of herself, often using natural conditioners for her fur after the fire if she can spare them; such as Aloe Vera, Nettle Leaf, Rosemary, and Chamomile.The healer's eyes are a slightly dark green, but usually bright. The molly is always smiling, causing faint smile lines around her eyes.

Personality

A kind, quiet she-cat who loves to be in the company of others. She likes to play with kits, care for those who cannot care for themselves, learn and share what she learns with others, and be someone to rely on when advice is needed.She is often seen as stern while focused on work, but she does not intend to be cruel. She merely wants to ensure that things are done correctly.The she-cat also has a sense of humor that many find generally attractive. Gloamingmoth tends to be witty; spending time around the she-cat and conversing with her often causes the occasional chuckle if the air is light.Gloamingmoth also has a strong sense of justice and deep empathy, wanting to help everyone, no matter who they are. If they are hurt, she will not turn them away. If she believes something is unjust, she will speak up about her thoughts and fight for what she believes is right.The Healer is also known to be generally cheerful, most of the time a bright light during dark times. Smiling always, and being a large source of comfort for many. If you need to talk, she is there for you.

_{⤿ The Leader of Singeclan, a young and respectful molly. The two are not biologically related, but are similar in many aspects. After Magnoliastar lost her family in the fire and was pushed quickly into the rank of Leader, she was finding out just how much pressure was on her shoulders. The poor molly being constantly stressed, anxious and mourning the loss of her family; she turned to Gloamingmoth to talk about the things that had been weighing on her. Running ideas by the Healer, talking about the fire, her family, and many more things, quickly increased the bond between the two. Gloamingmoth comforted her, soothing the Leader's emotions and anxieties as much as she could. Just offering a shoulder for the molly.Gloamingmoth encourages her to talk about her feelings, her motto being that holding it in will only make things worse and to let it out will relieve some of the pressure. Their late-night chats are always nice.The two became something similar to a sibling bond, Gloamingmoth being an older sister for Magnoliastar to talk to about anything that worried her, or to give opinions about ideas. The quiet of Starclan being a concern of both of them, Magnoliastar asking for advice on Starclan's seeming abandonment, though Gloamingmoth herself does not have much of an answer for the Leader. It is too soon to know, and Gloamingmoth's dreams have remained quiet.Gloamingmoth is fiercely protective of her and loves her very much. She will always support Magnoliastar and will never leave her side.After their talk about Starclan's abandonment, and Magnoliastar bringing up how she feels like she is pushing Singeclan further from Starpelt, Gloamingmoth is showing as much support as she can, knowing the young leader is questioning herself at every turn.}

During the forest fire, Sablestorm pushed Gloamingmoth aside before flames engulfed a den the Healer was about to rescue apprentices from; effectively saving her from a life with a burnt leg. The Healer finds herself feeling guilty about the Deputy's injuries, and took full responsibility to ensure the Deputy recovered, spending day and night monitoring the molly.Nowadays the two will bond over the stress of rebuilding, Sablestorm making sure Gloamingmoth does not work herself to the ground (and the other way around). The two share tongues often, a comforting friendship that keeps Gloamingmoth sane during the darkest times.The Healer finds herself having difficulty grasping that Starclan abandoned them, confiding in Sablestorm and discussing the topic with her often. Gloamingmoth had been close with their ancestors despite their confusing ways of communication. The sudden shutting out and abandonment was a shock to her system, and while everyone else has seemed to doubt that they hadn't abandoned them; Gloamingmoth can't help but believe that something had happened out of their power. Surely the stars wouldn't go silent.}

The tom brings her all her food to ensure she eats and doesn't work herself to the bone.}

Without the warrior, the healers would need to walk to the closest watersource with moss to collect water, which would be filled with ash and not clean enough for treating wounds.Magpiethorn assists Gloamingmoth with replanting the herbs, as Hilltumble passed before they could.}

_{⤿ Hilltumble became a Medicine Cat Apprentice (At the time) two moons before Gloamingmoth became a full Medicine Cat. Hootbreeze, being grumpy and becoming senile in his old age, had Gloamingmoth finish his training during the last moon or so of his apprenticeship. The two were close in life, Gloamingmoth always pushing herself into finding new uses for herbs and happily showing the other the progress she was making in terms of medical knowledge.He was the other Healer of Singeclan when the fire happened. The two had looked after their clan while both suffering from smoke inhalation themselves, looking after each other in between seeing their other patients. The stress of treating their entire clan weighed on both of them, but they made it through, somehow able to train Frogpaw throughout it as well.After his death, Gloamingmoth could not look at the tar pits or his nest for weeks. Losing her first apprentice was difficult on her mentally, now needing to both treat her clan and train Frogpaw alone. She occasionally looks to the stars, trying to find Hilltumble, some hope still left in her that maybe he wouldn't abandon them as Starclan had.}

_{⤿ Magpiethorn brings a stick with tar attached to the top of it, asking Gloamingmoth if she can think of any uses for it other than warfare. The Healer happily plans the use of the tar to line a hole to create a sealed, small pool of clean water for medical uses. The two also make small portable pools of water, mixing leaves and sticks with the tar into a small, curved pit-like structure (A bowl). Gloamingmoth begins to think fondly of Magpiethorn after their interaction, appreciating the other's curiosity. The Healer later refines the bowl's creation by using clay instead (10-12 moons after this event)}

_{⤿ Gloamingmoth leaves the Healer's den just in time to hear the news of Hilltumble's death, and it shatters the Healer. She breaks down in the middle of camp, sobbing and mumbling about things. Cricketswarm comforts her, and the tom helps her return to her den to grieve.}

In Roleplay Date ⟢ Moon one, the day of Hilltumble's death
_{⤿ An hour or so after the announcement of Hilltumble's death, a commotion is made in the Ashen clearing. Hedgethorn, a warrior of Singeclan, brings Vampire and Mink from the colony to the camp in search of healing. The tom had accidentally broken Vampire's leg after pulling the kit too hard out of a hole. Gloamingmoth takes the kitten, attempting to distract herself, and resets the bone, treating the break and curling around the kit. Due to the closeness with the announcement of Hilltumble's death, it only brought negative emotions.}

✚ Healing Mink and Cricketswarm's Comfort - 3/20/26 with Mink and Cricketswarm
In Roleplay Date ⟢ Moon one, the day of Hilltumble's death and a day before the sickness
_{⤿ After healing Vampire and returning the kit to Mink, the molly passes out from exhaustion and lack of food. Gloamingmoth takes care of the she-cat, giving her proper herbs. After tending to Mink, Cricketswarm comes in to check on Gloamingmoth. He feeds her, moves Hilltumble's old nest, and allows the Healer to lean on him for a quick cry. She greatly appreciates his support, and lets him leave so she can lay down to both get rest and try to warm Mink up, haphazardly forgetting to dry herself off, which results in a chill for a few days. Despite the crankiness during the healing, Gloamingmoth takes the overall experience as a positive in the day.}
